Hello. A couple of quick questions. I'm installing Lotus Domino 6 server on a Linux sever.
1. Can Domino Administrator and Domino Designer be installed on the Linux server? The install CDs do not indicate Linux as a platform for these products, but I would appriciate a clear answer to this question.
2. Does Administration have to be done remotely, or can it be done locally on the Linux server? If so how? What special software is requried in Linux to provide the graphic interface for the Administrator software? Is any special software required on the workstation to provide remote administration support to a Lotus Domino server on Linux?
3. Can Lotus Domino 6 Administration Client software be installed and co-exist safely with Lotus Domino 5 Client software already installed on a workstation?
4. I have a set of 6.0.1 install CDs for Lotus Domino. If I install 6.0.2.CSF1 for Lotus Domino server, is there another 'fix pack' that I need to download for Lotus Domino 6 Administration Client or Clinet as well?
5. Can Lotus Notes 5.11 Clinet access a Lotus Domino 6 server at 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 CSF1? Is maintenance required on the Lotus Notes 5.11 Client to do this?
Thank you for your time.
